We were excited to cater the latest Ventura and Santa Barbara Chapter of the International Special Events Society gathering at Sunstone Winery this week. The weather cooperated beautifully and we were able to escape the Santa Barbara June Gloom and have a heavenly evening in Santa Ynez wine country. Jessica Kuipers from Bijoux Events coordinated the event and Tenley Erin Young provided amazing florals and decor.

For event professionals who are used to a lot of catered events, we wanted to give them something that surprised and impressed which we accomplished with some fantastic hors d’oeuvres and stations. First out of the gate was our Pork Belly Corn Dogs paired with a Firestone Beer Mustard Sauce – out of this world!

Our outstanding chef Andrew made fresh mozzarella cheese in front of the guests at our Caprese Salad Station where they chose from a variety of toppings. Another blog post to come with details on creating the amazing station to impress your guests.

Also on the menu were Vichysoisse Shooters with Parmesan Tuille, Fig, Walnut Crunch and Stilton Tartlets and Rosemary Skewered Shrimp with Lemon Aioli Dipping Sauce.

All of us enjoyed mingling with all the wonderful event professionals from ISES; a nice break from the busy event season!
